Heating Installation & Replacement
Has your heating system needed more repairs than usual in the past few years? Have your energy bills been on the rise? Does it feel like there are cold spots throughout your home? It may be time to replace your heater. The average heating system lasts about 10-15 years, so if your unit has already provided a decade or more of valuable service, you may want to replace it.
Today, there are numerous types of heaters available. Still, the type of unit that you select will depend on the type of fuel available (gas, electric, or oil), the delivery system (forced air or baseboards), the size of your home, and your preferences. You can choose:
- Furnace - The most common type of heater, it distributes warm air through vents in your home
- Heat pump - Functioning as both a heater and AC unit, a heat pump pulls heat from the air (even at freezing temperatures) to warm your home
- Boiler - This unit heats water for use with a baseboard or radiant heating system
